Film Vikram Rathore review with public remark

An unintelligible movie with terrific action sequences, Rowdy Rathore has Akshay Kumar in a double role. One Akshay Kumar is Shiva, a thief who dons a police uniform and steals from people with the help of his accomplice, and the other is Vikram Rathore – a real cop, a one-man army who can send any number of opponents reeling.
The film has a story written for the sole purpose of all the events leading to fight scenes, which is great, except that no excuses or reasons are required when the action is so good. Prabhudeva’s wackiness is apt for the choreography, but as a filmmaker, he can please only the masses. Still,Rowdy Rathore is easier on the senses than his previous directorial outing Wanted.
Rowdy Rathore has a few amusing moments: 1) When the full-bodied Sonakshi Sinha, who has more to do than she did in Dabangg, is about the plunge into the well to save Akshay Kumar from drowning, he screams, “Don’t jump on me!” 2) A chorus of “Don’t angry me!” thumps with suitable beats as Akshay Kumar blows up vehicles belonging to the village’s chief tormentor.
The other attempts at comedy aren’t good, but Rowdy Rathore isn’t as bad as expected. Surprisingly, even the forced lines and unnecessary songs don’t grate the nerves. Rowdy Rathore is that rare Akshay Kumar movie which doesn’t drain your brain. There should’ve been funny scenes between the two Akshay Kumars, instead of the cop dying after the interval and the thief taking up police duty and the daughter’s responsibility, because the film falls flat whenever it tries to tug at the heartstrings.
Rowdy Rathore is a dumb movie that could have been fun to watch.
